Baptism.
A Pre- Baptism course is run in the parish to help parents
in preparation for the important responsibility
of bringing up their
children in the Catolic faith.
Before the baptism of each child the parent(s)
are required to attend this course,

First Holy Communion.
Normally Catholics receive their First Holy Communion at the age of seven or eight.
Preparation normally begins annually in September with the First Communion
taking place in May.
Children meet regularly with the Catechists in Eleanor Hall.
Children must be in Year 3 of primary school (or above) to be eligible for
First Holy Communion,
and information on enrolement will be posted in the weekly Newsletter.
The First Holy Communions this year will take place at the 12.15 mass on:-
the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th May.
